Without such relentless and constant exposure, parents will continue losing their medically complex children to the false allegations of child abuse. Parents have the ability to hold the power, and we need a power shift. Saving Sammy empowered parents by putting strep-triggered mental health disorders on their radar. Without the non-stop efforts of empowered parents, the disorder would still be relegated to bowels of medicine. We created a medical rights movement with PANDAS/PANS. We can change this, too.
