Paul Patterson PhD, the author of Infectious Behavior, has passed away of brain cancer. Paul was a great scientist, a good friend, and a big supporter of PANDAS. He was a professor at Caltech and at USC’s Keck School of Medicine. In the words of Dritan Agalliu of UC Irvine, “Paul Patterson’s death is a great loss for the scientific community and everyone who endorses the idea that infection can trigger developmental disorders of the nervous system and behavioral deficits.”
