State legislatures across the country are recognizing PANDAS and the need for treatment. How much longer will we have to wait for AAP to get on board? It’s been twenty years, and we are still dragging them along. Thank goodness for the parents, doctors, and foundations who are relentlessly pushing this forward, healing children, training providers, and pressing for insurance coverage. They are the reason there has been such remarkable progress in spite of the AAP’s blockheadedness.
